傳統洗衣板敲打著衣服的聲音，夾雜婆婆媽媽們話家常的笑聲，潺潺流水聲作為配樂，就此揭開序幕。 浣衣池是婦女們利用清澈山泉水洗衣的地方，霄裡的水質清澈、流量充足長年不斷。 居民洗衣、洗菜、取水、孩童戲水，共同使用浣衣池凝聚情誼，形成社區特色活動成為活化地方的開始。 交通工具停放小徑外，來到這拋開城市的喧囂感受霄裡的溫度，憶起或創造屬於自己與霄裡的回憶，從上游到下游，過去到未來，轉化的軸承以水流串起居民間的關係。 一號池，於福山宮旁，居民的信仰、精神的寄託，霧面玻璃區隔浣衣間與宮廟，通透性產生若即若離的空間，透過人的行為拉近關係，玻璃頂蓋讓陽光照攬浣衣間，象徵著人情的溫暖。 二號池，以石板地坪銜接湧泉池，保留舊有景觀與水道，石板橋於流水上方，小橋流水的意象增添歷史人文氛圍，讓來者體悟過去的生活型態。 三號池，於石母娘娘前，隨著石板階梯向下走回到了過去，在大樹樹陰下浣衣，徐徐微風從稻田吹拂而來，平台形成社區互動的場所，產生不同的使用機能。 地方DNA存在於長者身上，提供喚起回憶的空間，透過長者經驗的傳承將地方文化永久流傳。

They use the laundry pool to bond together and form community-specific activities that become the beginning of revitalizing the place. The vehicles are parked outside the path. From upstream to downstream, past to future, the bearing of transformation connects the lives of residents with water flow. Relation. Pool No. 1, next to Fushan Palace, is where residents’ beliefs and spiritual sustenance rest. The fogged glass separates the laundry room from the palace and temple. The transparency creates a space that is far away from each other, and brings people closer to each other through their actions. The glass roof allows The sun shines in the laundry room, symbolizing the warmth of human affection. Pool No. 2 is connected to the spring pool with a stone floor, retaining the old landscape and waterway. The stone bridge is above the flowing water. The image of the small bridge and flowing water adds a historical and cultural atmosphere, allowing visitors to understand the past lifestyle. Pool No. 3, in front of the Stone Mother Queen, goes back to the past along the stone steps. You can wash your clothes under the shade of the big trees, and the gentle breeze blows from the rice fields. The platform forms a place for community interaction and generates different functions. Local DNA exists in the elders, providing a space to evoke memories and passing on local culture forever through the inheritance of the elders’ experiences.
